Back to Basics...

I started blogging in August of 2011.  I loved every minute of it.  I wanted to start a review website so I had to give the PRs something to see and want to work with me.  Well, I got my first sponsored post right away, SHOCKING I know!  I was told to expect to wait at least a year before anyone would send me something and to start reviewing things around the house first, you know, to give them something to read.  I was really enjoying it, trying to stay impersonal but personal at the same time.  I didn't want people to know my family to much.  We moved to the city last year and I really disliked living there, which is why on Silkki's Reviews you will see that I only posted about 4 things in all of 2012, I felt terrible.  And then again, this year, Until September the reviews were very irregular, I moved to my new house in July and have been super busy since, but in September I decided that things were going to change.  I want to write my personal thoughts, feels, and everything that's going on in our life here, and I want to review on Silkki's Reviews (tab up top).  I have added a new page to this website called "Meet the Family" and I've also linked it to Silkki's Reviews.  I don't mind if people see what I look like, I don't mind if they know I'm the Owner, Product Tester & Review Author of Silkki's Reviews, I want people to get to know me, to share my life with me, even if it is online.  I really hope that everyone feels a part of my life from reading about it. I wish there was a way to give this more than one "Static Page" you may or may not know what that it, other Bloggers will know for sure, unless you're starting out and then you may not.  I would really like to have more interactive posts.  I want people to feel free to comment and become part of my websites.

  Well, I need to get going, I'm trying to contact more companies, prepare dinner and read some more books.  I have a lot of reviews do the last full week of October, which is bad because I also will be doing a Real Estate Course that week so I won't be home.  I need to get the reviews all done in the next two weeks so I'm not late with any reviews.  I'm serious about reviews, I love them, I love sharing my opinions about products, whether sponsored or not, I really like to do them.

  So many things to do, not enough time to do them.   Story of many lives I'm sure.  Have a good one everyone!
