MY REVIEW:

I have one word....addictive!!  I mean it, if you are a fan of forensic shows, mystery, murder solving dramas, you know the ones I'm talking about... those shows that get you thinking and having you blurt out at the screen who YOU think did it... well, I believe if you are that kind of fan then you would enjoy this story.  I have never seen it, and it's on Season 8.  I feel terrible for all those past seasons that I have miss and trust me I WILL be going and finding each and every season to watch it.  And who knows when I'm bored and lonely one night when my husband is away I may just start a Bones Marathon.  Who wouldn't enjoy that?  Hours and hours of David Boreanaz, he's such a good actor, he's charismatic, he's dreamy (hehee) loved him since Buffy, what teenage girl didn't?
My daughter and I have spent many late nights watching bones, I never want to turn it off.  I find myself so intrigued by the whole process, by how smart Bones is, she's full of some much information, a little too much you would think.  She truly does have a logical, scientific reason for EVERYTHING!  And she's able to tell you all the things that you didn't know, and likely never needed to know but she's tell you anyway.  Socially she reminds me of my husband, there is just something lacking in her technique, but like my husband, that's what makes her so lovable.
My favorite episode was the one that had the ancient remains of the small family.  Where the mother and father were the newly appointed "oldest hate crime".  I felt badly for the little girl in the scenario, she just starved to death because no one would take her in because she was a "mixed" child.  It really got me thinking about things, I feel terrible knowing any child in the world suffers because of the ignorance of their elders, of other people who should be wise enough to see past our difference and realize that these children are innocent, none of them asked to be here, none of them asked for the situation they were brought into and they should all receive love, appreciation and feel comfortable and safe.  It is always difficult for me to accept scenarios involving innocent youth because I have too much compassion for the human race, and I wish others felt the same.  We are all made from the same cloth.  That wasn't the only episode that made my heart sad, there was one of a thirteen year old boy who was killed by an accident and his "friends" hid the body.  It's sad the likelihood of that happening, I know it happens more often than I'd like.  I hope that my children will tell the truth and not hide the mistake if anything bad ever happens.
Bones is a great show, I really love it, and I will watch more...starting back with episode one of season one.  I'm very curious to see how the show has evolved over the past 7 seasons and see what was that brought them to where they are now.

Yesterday my husband and I took our youngest three and a family friend for a walk in our back fields and I must have had Bones on the mind because we came across so old bones (maybe coyote) and I started talking about how weird it would be to find old human remains, like in the show, it's always those people walking in the words who find dead people right?  Well, we didn't find any human, Thank God or I would have freaked right out.  But it was an adventurous walk and it did make me think about the show.  Even Lucy Lu said "you're talking about that show Bones"  heehee.  I guess what I'm trying to say is that you know it's a good show if you can pretend with your children that you're crime scene investigators looking for clues out in the cow field.

I give this show 4 out of 4 thumbs up! IT's fantastic.
