 MY REVIEW:
I wasn't sure what to expect with this, I'm not too fond of musicals but when I sat down to watch this with Little Miss B this morning I was in shock.  I cannot get over how well done this musical is.  How fantastic these actors did portraying the characters.  I mean, I really didn't believe that it would be this good.  I didn't see how it was possible to convey the greatness of Shrek the cartoons onto a live stage, but these actors did a fantastic job.  I am impressed.
The singing was great, the dancing was great.  My kids all loved it when they watched it the other day, but sometimes kids are just like that.  I honestly believe this is a great musical.  Not that I've seen many, but I have seen a few and I think I'm going to need to check out some more.  I may have just found a new passion for the live arts that I didn't know I had.  I'm so excited to share this movie experience with others.  It truly is a fantastic show.

If you're a fan of musicals you may want to go out and grab this one.  I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I give this 7 out of 10 thumbs up!!
