Added Silkki's Reviews to my first ever "hop"

A few weeks ago I emailed another blogger, maybe it wasn't a few weeks ago, but I had read something on her blog and I really liked what I read.  I decided that if I was going to get advice from anyone about blogging I would want it to be her.  As you know I've been doing this since May 2011 and opened Silkki's Reviews for it's first review in August 2011, awe, Everwood!!   Anyway, I have obviously done a lot more on Silkki's Reviews than I have here because I didn't want to let too many people into my blogging world.  You know, I didn't want my friends to judge or be offended by what they read here.  But I am who I am and I don't hold things back, which is also likely why I stuck to just doing reviews and giveaways.  Anyway, this year, after a rough year last year, I have decided to get back into reviewing and blogging.  Obviously it's a little difficult with four children, a sailor for a husband and a budding career.  So, free time is something I'm lacking daily, so why not throw myself back into reviewing?  Good question.  Since my husband has more trips to sea coming up and I'm still home with Little Miss B I need to do something that makes me feel like I'm contributing to things around here.  So, Reviews, my kids love participating in them, especially if they involve movies or toys, there have been some that were questionable...sadly, not all kids want to try NetiRinse... I don't see why not.  In all fairness after the product got here I didn't really want to do it anymore, well, not that I didn't want to, I just couldn't, I was uncomfortable with it. Which is fine because my husband "took one for the team" and he was my NetiRinse tester... I'll write the review on our experience but he was my brave nose cleaning tester.  God love him!

  Anyway, so back to it... I contacted this great blogger, she wrote a fantastic review and I thought she was the one I'd want to reach out for info, knowledge, wisdom!  So, nervously I did.  I warned her that I didn't want to step on any toes but if she could give me some guidance about how to boost my number that would be great.  One of the things she mentioned in her wonderful reply was to join "hops" so I googled it and I stumbled upon some.  As you can see over on Silkki's Reviews.  The first one coming up in the Whatever Goes Giveaway Hop, it takes place from Oct 21- Nov 11 and there are a great bunch of blogs participating.  If you would like to join the hop feel free to add your linky to the list.  Secure your own giveaway prize and host your giveaway between these dates.  Best if you post goes up the day before as to not overwhelm the wonderful hosts of this hop.  I'm going to do mine shortly and then I know it's ready to go and I won't be the one who gets kicked off the list for tardiness, not that I'm ever late, heehee.  Below you'll find all the hop info you need.  Hope to see your blog on the list.
