Can Strawberry Shortcake get any sweeter? I mean really?!?! Little Miss B and I have watched this DVD 3 times today (torture, I wanted to clean, but cuddles always come first). We sat on the sofa watching and in one episode Strawberry "loses" Pupcake and Custard, not on purpose of course and not knowingly either, she was just too busy to play with them as we all find ourselves being at one time or another. But in spite of everything the search party begins and everyone is looking for this cute puppy and kitty and through it all Strawberry shields her feelings of despair to comfort her friends, all the while poor Strawberry is a complete mess inside, and while all others are helping and expressing their worries she stays strong and comforting as she always is. I want to grow up to be Strawberry Shortcake, she truly knows what's important!! I truly feel this is a great character for little girls to learn values and morals from, some things are questionable but Strawberry Shortcake herself is such a great girl. She maybe small but she has a HUGE heart. I would love to watch this DVD again with my children, and I know they would all learn something, something worth learning too!!
If you have a little girl in your life I would suggest you grab a copy of this Strawberry Shortcake and enjoy some Berry Bitty Mysteries with her. I know we had fun this morning and it was nice watching my daughter tell the TV that she solved the mystery, now if only we could get that TV to listen to us... Unfortunately, Grandpa has been trying for years with little success so I doubt Strawberry Shortcake is going to listen to us any better :) Have fun and remember....
