MY REVIEW:

I have to admit, I never watched the first Maleficent movie but when this opportunity came up I was super excited to watch Maleficent: Mistress of Evil with my husband and children. Of course my children had watched the first one and were thrilled at the thought of seeing the second one as soon as it came.

We grabbed our popcorn, sat down and entered into this amazing fantasy world with flying creatures, fairies and a forest with a mind of its own. The children seemed more aware than I was of the characters which only peeked my own curiosity more to learn who they were and watch the first movie later on. I eagerly watched to see what would happen in this movie, quickly to realize who the real "evil" was. I was captivated enough by the characters to plot in my own mind what should happen to each.

I truly believe the sign of a great movie is when you become so involved that you plan their moves, you just get lost in the movie. I honestly haven't gotten lost in a movie in a very long time, and although I truly appreciate this movie, I wouldn't necessarily say that I got lost in it. BUT I definitely did love it. Enough to plan a movie night to watch the first one.

I think my favorite characters in this movie were the little fairies, it's the small things right?! They were so adorable and tiny, beautifully colored little helpers who definitely had important rolls to play. There were a few characters that I would have like to have seen with more of a part in the movie but that didn't take away from it at all. Overall , I think this movie had a lot of adorable characters and was so brightly colored in most scenes. I actually expected a more dark, scary, sort of movie, which is partially what kept me from watching the first one, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is definitely a movie I would recommend as a family movie night kind of movie. I am sure that we will watch it again soon, maybe even as a Maleficent marathon so I can watch the first one too!

~~I received a copy of the movie mentioned above for free in exchange for an honest written review of my opinion. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers~~

Happy New Year!!!

Hi everyone, so I guess deciding right before Christmas, with four kids at home, was bad timing to try to start blogging every day again!

Story of my life.

So, here we are one week into January, 2020, I have been sick for the past few days but finally coming along. I haven't blogged since December 20th which I feel terrible about but my kids had the couple of weeks off of school starting at that time and life got away from me. As it often does. I will try much harder to post something everyday or as close to it as possible moving forward.

But, hey, at least Santa thought I was a good girl last year and he brought me some awesome new tools to add to my workshop. I will likely end up doing a review on them at some point in the future. They are coming in handy for my latest project...

With the kids are back in school now. My husband is finally back to work, after having 2 months off due to back surgery and recovery. It's just me and my store. Renovations continue on the store. I'm working on putting in a new, recycled, floor. I love it. I think it's beautiful and will look amazing once it is all done and I am super excited about the progress so far...

Well, it's been a pleasure but I have to go make some dinner and put my babes to bed. So I will end this here for now and look forward to posting something tomorrow...

Oh, I have a giveaway coming up so stay tuned for that.
