Treats for Toys

I'm so excited to let you all know that Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal will be turning our tasty Rice Krispies Treats creations into toys for children in need across Canada.  I think this is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to help out.  I mean, how hard could it be?  You make some delicious treats at home with your own children and then take a photo of what you've made and Rice Krispies will give a toy to someone.  I can't think of anything more worthwhile, it's a win-win for sure.

Taking Part is Easy as 1 – 2 – 3
First, make a toy-shaped treat using Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal.
Second, take a picture of your treat using a digial camera or smartphone.
Third, upload your picture to RiceKrispies.ca.
It’s that simple. For every original photo of a treat uploaded to RiceKrispies.ca, Kellogg's will make a donation of $20 to The Salvation Army, up to a maximum of $30,000. The Salvation Army will use this donation to buy toys for children in need across Canada this holiday season.

If you'd like some inspiration you can find five new Rice Krispies Treats recipes HERE click on the images and the recipes will pop up.  Or you could create your very own Treats for Toys toy-shaped treat.

I can't wait to start building these treats... eating them will be just as fun.  But the best part is that my family will be helping provide other children with toys this year.  Indirectly, we will be making Christmas happy for many children and that makes me very, very happy.

Stay tuned for our Treats for Toys toy-shaped treats in future posts.  I look forward to sharing with you what we make.  I can't wait to share this with my children, I'm very happy that they are as excited as I am.  It's so nice that they want to help other children in such an easy way.  As you can see in the video above Little Miss B is very excited as well.  I hope some of you will participate in this.  I think it's a great opportunity to help children in Canada have a little Merrier of a Christmas.

~~I was supplied a Rice Krispies Treats for Toys kit to make a toy-shaped treat using Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal for free because I'm a member of the Kelloggers Network program, no other compensation was given or will be provided.  Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.~~
