Feedback on prize sites....

There's a website online that you can enter your name to win prizes (okay, their are a lot of them)  But this one says "Give us feedback" and a box to type in, then it says "How likely is it that you would recommend (there name here) to a friend or colleaque?"

My first thought was "Really? What do you say here?  Great site, I spend a lot of time filling out the forms, entering my name and I have never won anything!"  I mean seriously!  How likely am I to recommend it.  Well, I "like" the facebook page I tweet the contests, what more do you want from me, I can't tell people how wonderful it is to waste all your day filling out prize entry forms for contests you may never win.  Maybe I'm just over doing it, I'm sure people have won these things, the website show winners names, even locations on some, but are these people I have ever met? No!  Are they people any of you have ever met? Maybe, likely not.  I mean, I keep in mind as I'm entering these contests that I will likely never win anything and if I do I would then likely have to pay shipping and handling or some ridiculous tax because, correct me if I'm wrong but nothing seems to be "free" anymore.  And if you are giving away all these free things then why is it they are so hard to enter into.

I live in Canada and when I see ads that say the contest, draw, "free gift", sample, or whatever else it is that is available, is in fact available in Canada I'm am THRILLED.  Until I get to it and see that it's only available in the USA.  It's a little frustrating.

I'm sure some people aren't as bothered by these small things as I am.  But I am curious to know who writes "feedback" on these types of sites?  You want my feedback.  I don't think you'd like it.  And if you were to ask my husband these sites are a waste of time.  I think that they shouldn't have them set up so that people can enter draws without ever turning on the computer.  I just can't believe they have it set up that if you pay for this "account" you can have some sort of sweepstakes searching out robot help you out and enter you into draws.  You don't even know what types of draws.  Does it enter you into all of them or are you able to set it up just to enter you into ones for electronics or clothes or toys, gift cards.  And even so, who needs all those things.  How is it "fair" to enter a sweepstakes without even looking at the contests you're entering, not only that but some people can't afford it, some people can't sit on the computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and that's why someone sitting in a little cubical somewhere created this awesome tool.  Well, I don't think it's awesome.  I think it's cheating.  I think that if you don't have time to read what the prize is that you're entering then you likely shouldn't win it.  I believe that all of these prizes have different, even just slightly, but different terms and conditions, so how the heck can this computer generated contest searching bot say "Yes" this person agrees to this.  It is a matter of personal safety as well, I mean how can you sit at your computer and sign up for this, not knowing what this robot is going to say "yes" they agree to that.

I just don't get it.  If you enter a contest you should enter it yourself, read the rules, the regs, the places privacy and then enter.  Don't allow something else do it for you.

As for "what do you think of our site?"  I think it's great that there are so many websites with all the same information and links to contests out there, I think that it's just amazing that you sign up for all of these sites and they send you to all of these contests that you have a CHANCE to win.  Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy entering contests.  As a stay at home mom free stuff is always welcome, but I limit what I enter, you know to the things I actually want.  People really shouldn't be so greedy!
