Good day Everyone!  Silkki's Reviews is hosting (and sponsoring) a Mega Bloks - Skylanders Giants giveaway.  The prize that is up for grabs is one box containing 196pc set of Mega Bloks Skylander Giants Swarm Mech Invasion building blocks, some of which glow in the dark.  How cool is that?  I don't usually sponsor the giveaways that I host but since Christmas is just around the corner I felt the need to host one that was toy related, in case you want to get a start on your Christmas gift getting...

This product is great for both boys and girls.  MegaBloks are fun and easy toys to play with, they teach your child(ren) how to be creative, they teach fine motor skills, and a lot of other things...like fun!!
This is a product that I would give to any one of my four children...what a great idea...I may just have to go buy another one for under my own tree.

    1. It's never too late to pick up a good hobby, Randi. You should get one again. I know I have wanted one for years, there are so many stitch options out there nowadays it's remarkable the things they can do with the push of a foot. Eventually I hope to have time to pick it up again.

    1. That would have been a fun thing to play with. Did you and your sister make a lot of cool things? Come to think of it, I had a sewing machine when I was little too... I made doll clothes for one of my dollies, I think I still have one dress. I was not the greatest sewing machine operator but it sure was fun to be creative.

  12. My brother bought a puppy for my sister and I when we were kids. He said it was a surprise gift for his girlfriend but it was really a surprise gift for my sister and I. One of the best presents we ever received.

      I remember having a real baby that laughs & cries and eats &... well you know.... She was the greatest toy. I felt so cool having a baby just like me. I can't remember what they were called way back then but she was fun to play with. Santa always gives the best gifts.

  19. One year my mom & dad got both my sister & I build a bears for Christmas. They named them after our nicknames sammy for me & sarahabeara for my sister's! We got many more build a bears after that but this was my first and I still have it!

    1. I have many fond Barbie memories as well. I am trying to remember now if I had the country camper.. part of me thinks yes but I'm not sure. Asking if it were big and pink would be a silly question, it is Barbie after all. I think I had one of these, too.

    1. I remember having those. I got my oldest daughter a couple... Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. Of course they were babies in costumes, or maybe pajama's, but still cool.. We still have them and now my youngest loves them. Thanks for the memories.

  28. A teddy bear that my dad gave me, it was 3 feet tall and was handmade by a woman in the US complete with moveable limbs. Beautiful workmanship. My dad picked her up on a trip when he was truck driving. I unfortunately do not have her anymore due to a house fire. I got her when I was 6, still wish I had her.
